Pole barn concrete needs to stay safe, stable, and usable. When the floor starts to sink, crack, hold water, or pull away from the edges, it can make daily use harder and less safe.
The Concrete Team provides pole barn concrete lifting, concrete leveling, mudjacking, slabjacking, void filling, and slab repair services throughout Upstate New York. We help raise and stabilize settled concrete floors without the cost and disruption of full replacement.
Whether your pole barn is used for equipment, storage, vehicles, farm use, or business operations, we can inspect the problem and recommend the repair that makes sense.
Pole barn floors can settle for many of the same reasons as driveways, garages, and warehouse floors. The concrete is heavy, and it depends on solid support underneath. When that support changes, the slab can move.
Common reasons pole barn concrete sinks include:
Once the soil shifts or washes away, the concrete can sink, crack, slope, or become uneven.
If your pole barn floor connects to a larger commercial building or work area, you may also want to review our interior floor leveling and warehouse concrete repair services.

Elizabeth PageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Jim Denney and The Concrete Team highly enough! I’ve known Jim for many years, and as a Realtor, I’ve confidently referred him to my clients and I know he will exceeded expectations. Jim’s knowledge, experience, and workmanship are truly second to none. The quality of his work is exceptional, but what really sets him apart is the way he treats people. Home repairs, especially foundation or concrete issues can be overwhelming and emotional for homeowners. Jim has a remarkable ability to communicate clearly, explain complex issues in a way that’s easy to understand, and put people at ease. He never pressures anyone and always takes the time to help homeowners feel informed and confident about their decisions. Jim and his partner, Mike, are also two of the most honest, ethical people you’ll ever meet. Their integrity is unwavering, and they genuinely care about doing what’s right for their clients, not just getting the job done. In an industry where trust means everything, The Concrete Team stands in a class of its own. I give them my absolute highest recommendation and will continue referring them with complete confidence. They are simply the best. Christopher McCabeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Three years ago, I contacted The Concrete Team about some settling issues with my stamped concrete pool patio that had created a trip hazard in several high-traffic areas. They came out, evaluated the problem, and provided an estimate, but I never moved forward with the work at that time. After this past winter, the settling became noticeably worse. With a graduation party approaching, I wanted to get the issue fixed before guests arrived and risked tripping or falling. I called The Concrete Team expecting the price to have increased after three years, but to my surprise, they honored the original estimate and were able to fit me into their schedule on short notice. Their crew did an outstanding job. They were professional, efficient, and restored the patio for a fraction of the cost of replacing it. The finished product looks great, and most importantly, the trip hazards are gone. As a real estate agent, I’m always looking for trustworthy contractors to recommend to my clients, and The Concrete Team has absolutely earned my recommendation. If you have settled or uneven concrete, don’t wait—give them a call. You’ll be glad you did. Jordan CatinoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a fantastic experience with the concrete team! They did an amazing job mud jacking my front walkway. The pricing was very reasonable, they showed up on time, and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the results came out great. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price!" Peter OstwaldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jim and Mike did an absolutely outstanding job on our front sidewalk and the garage floor entrance. They had to drill holes in our front sidewalk and then pressure install concrete underneath to raise them back up to the correct level. Not an easy task. But this was done exceptionally well. Then they applied an epoxy surfacer to even out all the salt erosion that had been happening. After this a sand surfacing was applied to the epoxy [white] to give the sidewalk the proper appearance - now tan. A truly exceptional job. Jim and Mike were very pleasant to work with and did a great job repairing my front walkway which had sunk in over time. I had an area of concrete around my pool deck that needed to be raised. They did a great job….would absolutely recommend them! The Concrete Team did a great job raising the sidewalks at Severson Manor in Voorheesville. No more trip hazards for the residents and others who are just “passing through”. Thanks Mike and crew!
A settled pole barn floor can create safety issues, drainage problems, and rough working conditions. Small changes in the floor can also get worse if the void underneath keeps growing.
You may need pole barn concrete leveling if you notice:
If the concrete is cracked but not badly sunken, concrete crack repair may also help. If joints are allowing water under the slab, joint sealing and caulking may be recommended after the floor is stable.
The Concrete Team specializes in mudjacking, also called slabjacking. That means we can look at the floor, the access, the use of the
building, and the amount of settlement before recommending a repair method.
We look at the settled concrete, cracks, drainage, slab edges, and any voids or weak spots. We also consider how the pole barn is used and what kind of loads the floor needs to support.
We use mudjacking, also called slabjacking, to raise and support sunken concrete. This process pumps a grout-like material beneath the slab to fill voids, stabilize the concrete, and bring uneven areas back toward level.
After the floor is lifted, the holes are patched and the work area is cleaned up. We can also discuss related repairs, such as crack repair, joint sealing, or drainage concerns.
You can learn more about how lifting works on our concrete leveling process page.
Concrete lifting can be a smart option when the pole barn slab is still in good enough condition to save. Instead of removing the floor and pouring new concrete, we raise and stabilize the existing slab.
Benefits include:
For nearby farm and commercial properties, we also provide concrete lifting for dairy barns, parking lots, and loading docks and ramps.

Yes, many sinking pole barn floors can be lifted if the concrete is still in usable condition. If the slab is badly broken, crumbling, or too damaged, replacement may be needed. You can learn more about the cause of settlement on our Why Concrete Sinks page.
